Okeechobee Main Street
For over 20 years, Bridgette developed Okeechobee Main Street's logo and branding imaging. She designed their original logo in 1999, which led her to became an active member of Okeechobee Main Street as Arts & Culture Director, overseeing all their graphic design and imaging needs.
In 2017 Okeechobee Main Street made the decision to update their trusted logo. Bridgette led the process with a vision of a bright new logo that could be incorporated with all Okeechobee Main Street events. Understanding that changing a brand can be confusing to the public, it was important that the new design contained elements of the old one.
The image of the lamp and circular motion of the old logo remained in the new image. A black lamp sits in front of four colorful swirls, which represent the 4-point approach of Main Street. The slogan remained the same but a tag line was added, "Coming Together". The use of new fonts and simple elements resulted in a modern and colorful look.
In order to maintain the branding at all events, elements of the new logo is incorporated in all events and promotions. It is now very clear which events are associated with Okeechobee Main Street.
The new branding campaign won a Florida Main Street Secretary of the State award in 2018.
